These connectors, which have been designed for use in high-speed interface connections between computers and peripherals, are fully USB 2.0-compliant and support data throughputs up to 480Mbit/sec., as per the specifications set by the USB-IF.
Kycon's A-type and B-type USB con nectors are available either fully or partially shielded and feature indentations for exceptional grounding and mating retention, the San Jose company claimed. The insulator material is available in either black or white thermoplastic"
